Okay, everyone is here. Let’s start with the beta, because that decides the launch date.
Mike00:00:12
The build is stable, but the release checklist still has six open items. Two of them are App Store screenshots.

Support needs the FAQ before anyone outside the team sees it. I can have a draft by Thursday.
Sarah00:00:31
Then let’s move the launch to the 12th and give ourselves one more round of testing.
After the transcript
Summaries, action items and meeting notes
Open the transcript in AI Transcribe on iPhone or Mac and run any of 20+ AI tools on it: a summary, action items by owner, meeting minutes, a follow-up email, or ask it anything. The app takes files up to 3 hours and records meetings in the room, with a free trial.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Each account gets one free transcription of a file up to 30 minutes, with speaker labels and timestamps. There is no card to enter. For more files, longer recordings and the AI tools, the AI Transcribe app has a free trial and a Pro subscription.
Why only on Mac, iPhone and iPad?
Your transcript is saved to your AI Transcribe library, and the app that opens it runs on Apple devices. On Windows or Android you can still read the sample on this page, and you can open the tool on your iPhone.
Which files work?
Any common audio or video file: MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, FLAC, OGG, OPUS, AIFF, CAF, MP4, MOV and WebM. For a video, only the audio track is used.
How accurate is it?
It uses the same cloud speech model as the AI Transcribe app, with automatic language detection across 32 languages and a speaker label on every line. Clear audio with one person talking at a time gives the best result.
What happens to my file?
The file is uploaded over an encrypted connection and transcribed in the cloud. If you do not save the transcript, the file and the preview are deleted within 24 hours. If you save it, it stays in your library until you delete it there or in the app.
Do I need an account?
Not for the preview. To read the whole transcript you sign in with your email and a 6-digit code. That is also what keeps the free tier fair: one free file per account.
My file is longer than 30 minutes.
The AI Transcribe app takes files up to 3 hours and recordings up to 2 hours, with a free trial. Import the file there.
Guides by file type
Free files are limited to 30 minutes and one per account.
