AI Transcribe is an AI note taker for iPhone and Mac. It records meetings, lectures and calls, with no bot joining, and turns them into a transcript with speaker labels, then meeting notes, action items and a summary in one tap.
AI Transcribe is an AI note taker and transcription app for iPhone and Mac, made by Engcraft, LLC in New York. It records in-person meetings, lectures and interviews from the phone on the table, and on a Mac it records both sides of a Zoom, Google Meet or Teams call by capturing the sound the Mac plays together with the microphone, so no bot ever joins the call. Recordings and imported audio or video files become transcripts with speaker labels and timestamps in 32 languages. More than 20 AI tools turn a transcript into meeting notes, action items by owner, a decisions log, a follow-up email, a summary or a translation. Recordings sync between iPhone and Mac, open in a web library, and can be shared with a link that needs no account.
Most AI note takers join the call as a participant. AI Transcribe records from the phone in the room, or from the Mac itself, so nothing shows up in the participant list.
Dedicated AI recorders cost $159 and need charging. The phone already on the table does the same job.
macOS will not record the other side of a call on its own. The Mac app captures system audio and the microphone together, with the permission macOS asks for.
